Not always. Many modernisation approaches work at the API or data layer rather than the source code level. We assess the most practical integration approach based on what interfaces your legacy system exposes — API, database, file exports, or screen scraping as a last resort.
Will modernisation disrupt our operations?
We design all modernisation programmes to run in parallel with existing systems until the new solution is validated. We do not cut over until you are confident the new system is performing correctly, and staff are trained before cutover.
